A Mid Century Philip and Kelvin Lavern festival console from the Chan series. Enameled, patinated bronze and pewter measuring 56″ long, 26″ high and 20″ wide, 1960’s with original labels affixed under the top.
Philip Laverne worked in his studio at 100 Green Street, New York New York 10012 with his son Kelvin. They produced “works of art” in furniture using mainly bronze and pewter. They would patinate and enamel these objects, each piece a highly technical accomplishment and indeed a work of art.
