Antique Tiffany & Company Silver Nut Pick Chrysanthemum Pattern, measuring 4 3/8″, tiny script “ELB” monogram on the pointed end, marked with the old block “M” date mark, this is a 19th century item in excellent condition.
An amazing 19th century Tiffany & Co. Dessert service in the Chrysanthemum pattern, each piece with cast and applied arms featuring a rising sun and the motto Spes Lucis Eterne Latin for “Hope of Eternal Light”. A cast and applied monogram such as this would have been a very costly and time consuming feature, each piece having to be cast separately and applied to each item. There are a total of 51 pieces, 18 knives, 18 dessert spoons and 15 forks. Condition is excellent, some losses to the gold wash but overall it is almost entirely intact. The knives measure 7.5″, the forks 6.75″ and the dessert spoons 6 7/8″. Total weighable sterling silver 118 troy ounces
Antique Tiffany Silver Flatware Sauce Ladle Chrysanthemum Pattern from a Santa Monica area estate, about 7″ long, ribbon script “A” monogram, in excellent original condition with a block “M” 19th century date mark. Gilt bowl with one tiny ding in the bottom center.
